Life without laughter is not good - Comedian Philip

Life without laughter is not good - Comedian Philip

COMEDIAN PHILIP - NRI Goan Comedian of a Thousand Faces, has mastered the art of comedy. His charm and impeccable 'stage presence' captivates audiences. Life without laughter is not good. You should be able to find at least one thing in your life to laugh about, he says.

Comedians have been known for relieving stress, and cleansing the mind of ugly thoughts. That alone, proves that comedy is truly the best source of entertainment yet. I feel good when someone from the audience walks up to me and say "Philip, you so crazy", or "I loved the show", because that lets me know that I have done my job. He is thankful to all his fans. Comedian Philip says "People always walk up and ask me to sing comedy songs". I am into 'humour creation' and not the routine jokes. All my material comes from things that happens in my day-to-day life, or someone I know.

This comedian is truly one to watch. Comedian Philip strives for perfection. He has done character roles with a 'comic' touch and is rightly called "NRI Goan Comedian of a Thousand Faces". Philip's impersonification of the great "Lorna" as in Lorna's song "Aikat Mhojo Tallo", and "Micheal Jackson" as in "Beat It" song as well as late Dr.Rosario Rodrigues (with the get-up and his voice matching the characters to perfection) were greatly appreciated. Philip hails from the scenic and beautiful village, Majorda (Salcette) and remembers commencing his acting career at 11-years of age...........

Comedian Philip is one of the Kuwait-based singers to perform in Tony Dias’ tiatr
“Mahanand - Monis vo Soitan”. The tiatr will be staged at the Daiya Fencing Club Hall on Friday, 15th January 2009 which will commence at 4:15 p.m. with a glittering ceremony in the presence of H.E. Shri Ajai Malhotra, Ambassador of India, as the chief guest, Tony Gonsalves, promoter of Konkani & Goan culture (Wembley Goans U.K.) as guest of honour, and a galaxy of special invitees.

It's a Kala Mogui Kuwait's presentation and the organizers have re-designed the auditorium with specially elevated risen seating arrangement and stage setting with the state of the art sound system and light effects.

The tiatr is based on a true story of a serial killer that rocked Goa, written and directed by Tony Dias and has a formidable cast comprising of Jessica, Jane, Bushka, Shruti, Filu Dias, Jazu, Franky, Trindade, Bingi, Socorro de St. Cruz, Connie M, Filipe Almeida, David D'Costa, Comedian Janet, Comedian Aurelio & Comedian Ambe and supported by Kuwait-based renowned singers Rosary Ferns, Bab Agnel, M.Luis, mimicry artiste Edward Estibeiro, Comedian Philip and musician Shahu.
